The reconstruction of Beacon Street has been a priority for the City of Somerville, and work to reconstruct the roadway and existing infrastructure actually began just a few weeks ago. The intent of the project is to design a state-of-the-art roadway that increases the access, safety and mobility for all modes in the corridor.
